Watch the work of Performing Artists Company’s 2023 Young Industry Project come to life as students present 'A Chorus Line: Teen Edition' as the culmination of their two week intensive project!

It’s 1975, and Broadway is aglow with performers competing for every role. At a Broadway theatre, director and choreographer Zach is holding auditions to find a chorus of dancers for a new show.
Zach asks the dancers to candidly share personal details about themselves and their art. As the dancers reveal their backgrounds, the audience begins to connect with the personalities, stories and hope of the auditionees and what has brought them to this point in their lives.

A Chorus Line: Teen Edition is a stunning concept musical capturing the spirit and tension of a Broadway chorus audition. Exploring the inner lives and poignant ambitions of professional Broadway performers, the show features one powerhouse number after another. Memorable musical numbers include “What I Did for Love,” “One,” “I Can Do That,” “At the Ballet,” “The Music and the Mirror,” and “I Hope I Get It.” A brilliantly complex fusion of song, dance, and compellingly authentic drama, the show is widely recognized as an all-time theatre classic.

Book by James Kirkwood and Nicholas Dante. Music by Marvin Hamlisch. Lyrics by Edward Kleban. Original Co-Choreography by Bob Avian.
