Past Event

Avila College and Mazenod College are proud to present our co-production of Freaky Friday, a musical adaptation of the classic novel by Mary Rodgers and the hit Disney films.

When an overworked mother and her teenage daughter magically swap bodies, they have just 24 hours before Mum’s big wedding to put things right again.

Freaky Friday is a hilarious, contemporary update of the classic story, in which mother and daughter see what it means to be a family while experiencing each other’s lives first-hand, if only for a day.

Book by Bridget Carpenter | Music by Tom Kitt | Lyrics by Brian Yorkey.

Based on the novel Freaky Friday by Mary Rodgers and the Disney films.
