Monash University: Jazz Small Ensembles

These two events showcase the emerging talents of jazz students from the Sir Zelman Cowen School of Music and Performance.  It will feature 15 small jazz ensembles. The philosophy of Jazz and Improvisation at Monash University is to offer a strong technical, improvisational and musical foundation that allows students to develop a personal voice that emerges as a result of their broad musical education and awareness of their place within global social and cultural contexts.
