Join us for a night of muscular hard driving swing; hot swinging jazz, tender lyrical ballads, French melodies, gypsy waltzes and original compositions!
For over a decade, Ultrafox has performed their mix of elegant swing, and exuberant dance tempo jazz. Led by guitarist Peter Baylor, the outfit takes inspiration from the famous “manouche jazz swing “ of the Hot Club of France featuring Django Reinhardt and Stephane Grappelly of pre-war Paris.
For this special performance, Ultrafox will feature vocalist Julie O’Hara, Peter Baylor and Sam O’Halloran on guitars, Jon Hunt on clarinet and saxophone, and Howard Cairns on double bass.
