Melbourne Cabaret Festival Roadshow: Live at The Count's
MPAC unites with Melbourne Cabaret Festival to present Australia's best cabaret talent across five shows in The Count’s this October. The limited season includes drag, jazz, comedy and pop performances.
Feast on a smorgasbord of exquisite cabaret shows, curated by the long-running Melbourne Cabaret Festival. Each show opens with emerging cabaret talent thanks to the Ron and Margaret Dobell Foundation. Nestled in the heart of Monash University’s Clayton campus, The Count’s transforms into a cosy cabaret room with full bar with dinner service available.

Whip out those old flares and zhoozh your hair as Matthew Hadgraft (ABBALive, Peter Allen Live in Inverted Commas, The Boy From Oz) sings up the greatest party night of the decade – just like the movie, but wayyy better ‘cause you’re allowed to sing along.

Elizabeth Victoria is an emerging performing artist and creative pursuing their passion at the reputable Victorian College of the Arts but… before all of that – they are Greek. They’ve been Greek. Well, undeniably, always will be Greek.
It’s been a cause for interrogation: they look around and realise that a lot of their friends don’t have the ability to have secret conversations in public, the hair on their body is more pronounced or insistent, and no one’s house is as empty as their parent’s.
hi, i’m greek… invites the audience to view the world from Elizabeth’s ethnic perspective as they unravel themselves to figure out if they should find refuge in their culture, or rewrite their history.
