Acclaimed Australian-Swedish conductor Warwick Stengårds returns to lead the Monash Academy Orchestra in a captivating program filled with passion. Experience the beauty of Australian compositions alongside timeless favourites from Mozart and Brahms, performed live on stage.
We’re thrilled to welcome rising star Freya Parr, winner of the 2024 Sir Zelman Cowen School of Music and Performance Concerto Competition, as she takes the spotlight with Mozart’s sublime Clarinet Concerto.
The program culminates in Brahms’ Symphony No.3 — a masterpiece of power and lyricism, hailed as “artistically the most nearly perfect.” Don’t miss this extraordinary afternoon of live orchestral music.
