Join the learning team from the Royal Botanic Gardens Victoria to discover the wonders of native Australian plants.

You and your grown-ups are invited to create your own native‑plant teabag to take home, blending your favourite flavours, yum! Use microscopes to investigate the amazing features that help Australian plants survive and thrive in our harsh landscapes. Then set off on a guided scavenger hunt through Monash Clayton’s Rainforest Walk, right here on campus, where shaded paths and footbridges wind through a living sub‑tropical rainforest garden, before exploring bushfood plants with all your senses.

Family Fiesta, Forest
Part of Family Fiesta 1–4 July. MPAC invites children 0–12 and their families to step into the forest and discover a world of free and affordable events. Explore ancient trees, fungi and the hidden micro-world beneath your feet, and see how everything in the forest is connected.
