Come gather round our cosy Fiesta Book Nook for interactive storytime with the fabulous Shamita Siva! You might hear a classic story we all know and love, or a lesser known tale by the Brothers Grimm. But Shamita is going to need your help to tell the story, and you might find yourself becoming a character in the story too, with the help of some nifty wigs and props.

Shamita Siva is a multi-faceted performance artist specialised in movement, dance, and theatre. Shamita has trained at Stella Adler AoA Los Angeles, AAFTA, Brave Studios, 16th Street, and is an alumni of Monash University, where she completed her BA Performing Arts. Recent credits include The Marvellous Life of Carlo Gatti (Wildefang), Mara Korper (Citizen Theatre), Let Men Tremble (The Danger Ensemble) and Nosferatu (Malthouse). Outside of acting, Shamita teaches dance and movement workshops for children at Arts Centre Melbourne, and at schools across Victoria.
