Pianist Yii Ying Tan performs works by Mozart, Liszt, Fanny Mendelssohn-Hensel and Australian composer Esther Kahn in the David Li Sound Gallery.
Pianist and chamber musician Yii Ying Tan is renowned for her passion and restless curiosity about classical music, particularly her advocacy of music by lesser-known composers. A recent graduate of Monash University, Yii Ying has given performances in Malaysia, China, USA, Italy and Australia. She recently gave her concerto debut with Monash Academy Orchestra performing the Etruscan Concerto by Peggy Glanville-Hicks.
