Bumpy

The Ian Potter Centre for Performing Arts

$10 - $25

Past Event

A proud Noongar woman from regional Victoria, soulful vocalist and songwriter Bumpy presents an introspective view into her truths as a First Nations artist whilst delving into a world where vulnerability is power.

Venturing into her solo artistry, Bumpy has emerged out of Melbourne’s expansive music scene with her own independent blend of soul, pop and jazz. A proud Noongar woman from regional Victoria, Bumpy presents an introspective view into her truths as a First Nations artist whilst delving into a world where vulnerability is power.

As well as performing solo and in full band form, Bumpy has spent the last several years performing with First Nations Hip Hop Collective, DRMNGNOW, jazz-infused psych-soul quintet Squid Nebula, and has been sighted on stages across Australia such as Rabbits Eat Lettuce, Strawberry Fields, Grampians Music Festival and St Kilda Festival.

For her debut appearance at The Count’s, Bumpy appears with her band to present her original compositions.
