Leonard the Lyrebird

The Ian Potter Centre for Performing Arts

$20

Join Leonard the Lyrebird on a musical adventure - seeking friendship, facing danger, and singing all the way, with cello, clarinet and piano.

Based on the award-winning children’s book by Jodie McLeod and Eloise Short, Leonard the Lyrebird is brought to life in musical form with a children’s sing-along and a giant storybook.

Leonard is a plucky little lyrebird living in the Blue Mountains near Sydney, where he sings the songs of all the animals in the bush. Although he has many friends, what he really wants is a friend who is another lyrebird.
