Since 1992 Mariachi Los Romanticos have brought Mexico’s finest Mariachi songs to Melbourne. Making their debut performance at The Counts, this larger-than-life ensemble perform toe-tapping rancheras to tender moving boleros, led by the director William Martinez.

Fusing Spanish vocals, guitar, Mexican bass, trumpet, violin and Latin Percussion wearing their signature embroidered traditional Mexican suits, Mariachi Los Romaticos creates the essence of Mariachi music that takes you to the heart of Mexico.

The Salvadorian directors of Mariachi Los Románticos left El Salvador in 1987, searching for a better life. On arrival to Australian shores, brothers Willíam and Julio with their father José, began to recreate their musical identity and play the Mariachi music of their homeland. Their songs embody the essence of México, telling stories of yesterday, today and tomorrow.

Don’t miss Mariachi Los Romanticos transform The Count’s Courtyard to a Mexican summer fiesta.
