To crown IPAC 2024, it is MPAC’s great honour to present a rare collaboration between some of India’s finest artists in their respective fields.
Leading lights of Indian classical arts Dr S Sowmya, Lalgudi Vijayalakshmi and Rama Vaidyanathan come together for the first time in a grand concert featuring both popular and rare compositions in celebration of Carnatic Vocal and Violin Music and the Bharatanatyam dance form. The trio will be accompanied by Australia’s legendary percussionist Ravi M Ravichandhira OAM on the Mridangam and Mohanapriyan Thavarajah on Nattuvangam. This unique concert has been conceptualised to premiere exclusively at IPAC Australia 2024.
