Retconned Bond is a delicious re-imagining of classics and obscurities from the James Bond canon. Originally broadcast as a radio special on PBS 106.7FM’s Black Wax program featuring 30 musical collaborators, this show brings a selection of these stunning new arrangements to the stage at The Count’s! Come and experience Bond music as you’ve never heard it before – for your ears only!
Adam Rudegeair is a prolific composer, performer, filmmaker, and educator based in Melbourne. His music is rooted in jazz and funk, with significant influences from the sounds of New Orleans and Minneapolis. His current projects as a leader include Lake Minnetonka, The Bowie Project, and the ongoing collaboration with jazz legend Bob Sedergreen ‘Bourbon Street to Brunswick Street’.
Adam’s recent releases include: The Bowie Project 4: Strange Changes, Nourse Mythology, and the soundtrack for the Cinema Viscera feature film Apparitions. Since 2008 Adam has presented the weekly jazz program Black Wax on PBS 106.7FM.
